I was so happy when I found this keyring! Not just because I love macarons but also because this is a special gold macaron keyring. This version was a limited edition color for Fall/Winter 2010/2011 collection and you cannot purchase it anymore. It took me months before I managed to find it.

Hermès - The Gift of Time

... is the theme for year 2012. Le temps devant soi. For this year, Hermes has issued a Dragon leather keychain in accordance with the Chinese zodiac calendar. Well, not everyone likes the design. So, it is either a 'hate it' or 'love it' thingy. Frankly speaking, it reminds me of the Balinese Barong mask :P.

Hermès Horse Hair Tassle Charm

My first post for the year of 2012! I would like to introduce this quirky charm from Hermes crafted from horse hair. This is the same horse hair found on Hermes bags which is commonly known as Crinoline. When I was first introduced to this horse hair tassle charm ( a few seasons ago), I was scratching my head trying to figure out how to use it after my SA took it out from the drawer as it was a new collection that came in. This horse hair tassle looks like a little broom and it looked so weird hanging on my bag. Hence, I decided not to get it.

Little that I know that the horse hair tassle charm is actually a hit and it was sold out in no time. I figured the stock that came in was not much. So, after a few years later of searching high and low, I am happy that I finally got one! The good news is Hermes is re-issuing this horse hair tassle charm in a slightly different design for their F/W 2011/2012 collection. If any of you have been looking for this charm, better get your name on the waitlist because I am sure they will be selling out fast!

Merry Christmas from Louis Vuitton!

I must admit that the weather is not great for Christmas. It has been raining for the past few days in Singapore with flash flood in a few areas. The sky is so gloomy (It reminds me of the weather in the UK). However, it won't wipe-off the festive's moods in me! It certainly doesn't affect Louis Vuitton when it comes to gift giving.

For this year's Christmas, I received a nice gift courtesy of Louis Vuitton (Thank you so much!). Inside the box, is a very beautiful set of metal cubes engraved with LV Monogram and Damier canvas. Each cube has a magnet in it so you have to sort of juggle them around to make sure they are attached correctly.

I am always eager to know what design of charms Hermes is going to release each year for the theme. Like this little horse cadena ... I am not sure which year this was released but it is certainly not new. Sterling silver cadenas are prized among Hermes collectors because they are not always available in every store and some designs are not for commercial sale.

Hermès Chou Chou or Silk Hair Pompons

These silk pompons were initially made as a bag charm a few years ago. They were only available for a short period of time and were not so popular then. For Japan market, Hermes produced them again as hair pompons which are equally cute. They were available in many colours and come in a small drawstring silk pouch to keep them in. Unfortunately, you can only find these hair pompons in Japan.
